Anastasia Bermúdez Torres was a Marie Curie COFUND Fellow at the Center for Ethnic and Migration Studies from December 2013-December 2015, during which time she researched the impact of the economic crisis on the integration processes of Colombian migrants in Madrid, London and Brussels. She is currently based at the Anthropology Department of the University of Sevilla (Spain) as Ramón y Cajal Research Fellow, teaching and continuing her research on migration and refugee flows, integration processes and migrant political participation. Anastasia holds a PhD and an MSc in Geography, an MA in Area Studies (Latin America) and a BA in Geography and Politics from the University of London (Queen Mary and ILAS).
