Olivier Esteves is assistant professor in British studies at Lille III University, and he also has seminars at Sciences-Po Lille. He passed the “agrégation d’anglais” in 1996. His courses generally dwell on British history, with a specific focus on race-relations issues. His research deals with the history of immigration in 20th century Britain, although recently he took an interest in two great 20th century British intellectual figures : George Orwell, Bertrand Russell.
He is a study abroad coordinator for his University department.
