Alice Poncelet graduated from the Institute of human and social Sciences at the University of Liège, where she also obtained her teacher training degree. Her fields of interest are anthropology, sociology of development and sociology of migration. She has conducted research on the school paths of young people with foreign origins in the French-speaking Community in Belgium, under the supervision of Marco Martiniello and in partnership with the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve and the Free University of Brussels. She is currently working at AFICo asbl FGTB.
