AN INSPIRING EVENT DEDICATED TO SMART CITIES

The Smart City Institute is pleased to invite you to the Smart Inspiration Day on May 24, 2018. This event will be dedicated to the study of the Smart City topic. This year, our event will be divided in two parts and will offer workshops during the afternoon (in French) and conferences in the evening (in English).
HEC Liège (Rue Louvrex 14, 4000 Liège)
During the afternoon (from 1pm to 5:30pm) take part to our workshops dedicated to various subjects such as stakeholders dynamics or performance indicators. These workshops will guide you through the process you undertook to the Smart City.

Plenary Session by the Smart City Institute & its Partners
La Boverie (Parc de la Boverie 3, 4020 Liège)
During the evening attend our conferences and come to listen to our international keynote speakers. Based on their experience they will present their own vision of the Smart City and some best practices they identified on their territory. A walking dinner will follow the presentations to give you the opportunity to discuss with other stakeholders of the Smart City ecosystem.

ROB VAN GIJZEL I Former Mayor of the City of Eindhoven (2008-2016)
Inspiring conference on Smart Cities dynamics, based on the conversion of Eindhoven and its region into a sustainable and intelligent territory, Eindhoven having been elected “Intelligent Community of the Year” by the Intelligent Community Forum in 2011.

KATIE TURNBULL I Executive Associate Director at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute – Professor at Texas A&M University
Katie Turnbull will talk about the “Smart Cities: Smart Mobility” topics and present some of the best practices she has been able to identify in the US and in Texas during her carreer.

You can register for both parts of the event or only for one. However, regardless of your choice, upstream registrations are mandatory.
