Sanja Cukut Krilić
Sanja Cukut Krilić, born in 1978 in Ljubljana, obtained her bachelor’s degree in 2001, her master’s degree in 2005 and her PhD in 2008 (all at the Faculty of social sciences, University of Ljubljana). She has collaborated in national and international research project at the Sociomedical Institute ZRC SAZU from 2002, where she is also employed from 2005. Her research interests include gender and migration, female migrants, migration in socialism and postsocialism, transnational activities of migrants, migrants’ care work, migration and ageing and domestic violence and vulnerable groups. |

Mojca Vah Jevšnik
Mojca Vah Jevšnik is a sociologist and a research assistant at the Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts, where she is part of a scholarly group conducting research on migration-related themes (Slovenian Migration Institute). She holds a PhD in Social Work from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, and an MA in Migration Studies from the University of Nova Gorica, Slovenia. She is a coordinator of an international postgraduate study programme European Master in Migration and Intercultural Relations (EMMIR) at the University of Nova Gorica, which is run by a consortium of several European and African universities. Within the programme, she regularly teaches a course on migration and integration at the University of Stavanger, Norway. Currently, she is involved in international projects related to the occupational safety, health and wellbeing of posted workers within the EU. Her research interests and areas of expertise include labour migration, migration policy, social policy and social welfare. |

Grega Strban
Grega Strban is full professor of Social Security Law at the Faculty of Law University of Ljubljana. He completed postgraduate specialisation course on EU law, University of Cambridge (with distinction), master course on European social security, KU Leuven (magna cum laude), and defended doctoral thesis at the University of Ljubljana. He performed research at Max-Planck Institute for Social Law and Social Policy in Munich, as Stipendiat of the Institute and as Humboldt Fellow, he is currently an external correspondent of the Institute. Prof Strban is Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana, President of the Slovenian Association for Labour Law and Social Security and member of the Executive Committee of the International Society for Labour and Social Security Law, Geneva. He is also Vice-President of the European Institute of Social Security, Leuven, and member of the Judicial Council of Slovenia. Prof Strban is active in several Slovenian and international projects (among them he leads the research group of the Faculty of Law and acts as scientific coordinator of EU project MoveS). He is author of many publications and member of several editorial boards. He was awarded Best Young Lawyer in Slovenia (2001) and received Roger Dillemans Award for Excellence in Social Security, KU Leuven (2004). |
