Anna Prokhorova Between 2011-2015 worked with the World Bank regional program on migration and remittances in Russia and Central Asia (MiRPAL Network). Since 2015 participated in several migration related research projects run by international organisations such as the World Bank, the UNESCAP, UNECE, and Russian and European research institutions. In 2014 participated in the INTERACT project: Integration as a Trilateral Process – Cooperation of Origin Countries and NGOs in Integration of Third-Country Nationals in the EU Countries. The project was implemented by a consortium of universities led by the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. As a participant in this project, I interviewed representatives of the NGOs providing assistance to Russian-speaking immigrants in the EU countries. Currently, working also on a PhD thesis ‘Political economy of migration policy-making in non-democracies : the case of Russia’, Faculty of Political Sciences and Sociology, European University at St. Petersburg, Russia. |
